Hide-and-seek is perhaps one of the most popular games we play as a kid. However, with computer and mobile games, kids these days no longer play these games. With Object Hunt, though, you can relive your childhood without needing to go out of your house. This free simulation game lets you and four other players play hide-and-seek through your mobile devices. You can play as the seeker or choose to hide. The twist is that you can camouflage with the props, but you cannot stay at the same place all the time. 

What is Object Hunt?

In Object Hunt,  you and four other players will participate in one round of the game, wherein you can choose to play as the hunter or the hider. The hunter will have to find the four others before the time runs out. To differentiate the seeker from the hiders, you will take the avatar of a pig and you will need to explore the entire game map to reach your goal. 

Meanwhile, you can use props and various avatar skins as a hider to make you invisible to the hunter. As noted, the game does not only let you hide behind furniture and rooms. You can also camouflage with the items around the map to make it harder for the hunter to spot you. Note, however, that you need to unlock the props you can camouflage with. The game ends when the hunter finds all the hiders or the time runs out. 

You earn coins in each round, which are for unlocking new skins and props. Each round is rather short, though—requiring the hunter to find all hiders within 15 seconds. The other players are also game-provided, so there is no chance of actually playing with your friends. Moreover, you cannot interact with them, which makes it look like you are playing with bots. To make matters worse, there are tons of ads interrupting your entire game. 

Fun at first

Object Hunt is a fun lazy-version of a popular childhood game. The game lets you go down on a trip down memory lane by allowing you to play hide-and-seek through your mobile device. However, while it can be a nice casual game, there are lots of issues within the app that makes it annoying as you play along.
